On Wednesday, December 22, Karnataka recorded 321 new coronavirus infections.
According to a notice issued by the state health department, the number of current cases in the state is 7,138. Bengaluru Urban’s single-day total was 211.
On Wednesday, four deaths were recorded in the state as a result of coronavirus, bringing the state’s death toll to 38,299.
On Wednesday, the state registered 253 hospital discharges, bringing the total number of discharges to 29,57,799.
Karnataka has recorded 30,03,265 positive cases since the outbreak began in March 2020.
0.32 percent remains the positivity rate for the day, while the case fatality rate remains 1.24 percent.
So far, a total of 8,37,57,665 persons have been vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccines.
